I graduated from Geneva High School in 2006. Afterwards, I began my studies at Troy University, Troy. I graduated in December of 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I earned my Master of Science in Elementary Education in July of 2016 from Troy University, Dothan. In 2020, I earned my Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama.


I worked at Dothan High School as a Reading Intervention Teacher's Assistant in January of 2011. I then began to substitute teach within the Geneva City and other surrounding school systems. I began teaching third grade at James A. Mulkey Elementary School in May of 2012 and made the transition to School Counselor in July of 2020.


I am married to Lee Parrish. We have two girls, Kennedy and Carson.
